Mark Ramprakash has made it into a small group of cricketers who've scored 100 centuries in top-class cricket.

He's only the 25th player to reach the milestone, which happened as his side, Surrey, drew against Yorkshire.

A century is when the batsman gets a 100 or more runs in the same batting time, called an innings.

The 2006 Strictly Come Dancing winner said: "When I started out I never dreamed about making that many hundreds but I'll certainly take it now."

"I feel honoured to join such a high calibre of names who have also achieved the feat. It's definitely something I'll cherish for the rest of my days."

Ramprakash had been waiting to take the historic score since he got his last hundred at the end of May.

He is the 25th player to have achieved the feat. The last player to hit 100 centuries was Graeme Hick back in 1998.

Ramprakash, 38, has scored more than 30,000 runs in his cricketing career which saw him make his first-class debut in 1987.
